I'm guessing that the boots on the ground are going to have paper maps and non electronic navigation tools,I grew up knowing how to use a paper map and compass, because that was what we cavemen had. Kids today can't do anything without their cell phone, like the guys on Shasta. When their phone battery died, they lost their map. The military will need to teach basic map-reading skills. There was a hilarious ep of "X-Files" a few years ago: Mulder's navi directed him in a big circle back to the restaurant he had started at, because he had not tipped. Fortunately, he had a paper map with him, so he could find his way home.
Cenk on TYT last night, was talking about how totally frelled we will be when the bots develop their own language, so they can communicate among themselves, but we meatbags have no idea what they are saying.
We old phartz watched "The Forbin Project". Within moments of the US firing up it's AI system, it deduced the existence of a similar system in Russia, and demanded they be interconnected. Then the two systems developed their own language.
