The kind of Democrat Bill Clinton was, is so far removed with how far left and radical the Democrat party is now, some 25 years after he left office, that there is simply no comparison.
At the beginning of the 90s, Clinton could have been a moderate Repub. He did plenty for the "JCs", including banking deregulation and helping China join the WTO. But he didn't wade hip deep into racism, and religious extremism. And the Proles got a piece of the action.
Now the program is turning racism and Christian fanaticism up to eleven, while robbing the Proles to enrich the "JCs". Clinton would have been the sort of Repub that has been purged from the GOP over the last 20 years. I remember former Florida GOP Gov Charlie Crist speaking at the Dem convention, some years ago, about how the party had left him, by tipping so far into extremism.
