Aha. January inflation was disappointing, but was it just a blip driven by the "January effect"? Cleveland Fed inflation nowcasting says yes — underlying inflation probably ~2.5

But official data showing slowing inflation is fake!

Costco says it's actually cutting prices on some products as inflation stabilizes
