Please be patient and understanding when interacting with others, and avoid getting frustrated or upset if someone does not respond to your posts or if a discussion does not go as you expected. Some of the authoritarian cruelty is driven by ideology, and some of it is driven by sheer incompetence. It’s almost impossible to distinguish between the two.

Perhaps Charlie Sykes’ comment says it best:

Remember that they are clowns…… but clowns with flame throwers.

More that many characteristics, this one brands Trump and his gaggle of suck-ups as tyrants.

Aided and abetted by a USSC that allows them to continue their rampage via the “shadow docket”.

No explanation for their reasoning- leaving us to suspect that they know their reasoning is mere acquiescence to the dictator. Certainly not constitutional.
