Many who were targeted for starvation, particularly rural and low-income residents in red states, voted Republican because they refused to believe the GOP, which is in charge of our nation's deliberative bodies, really would watch them starve rather than compromise with Democrats or disobey the senile sociopathic Donald Trump.
