Gorgeous day up here, life is still good, for now anyways,lol.
I’ve been up north too- on the east side of the state.
Yesterday I stained some sections of split rail fence. Today, we’re sitting on the deck, enjoying a Michigan late summer/early fall day of crystal clear air, blue skies and 78 degree temp.
Tomorrow- furniture comes off the deck before we leave for home. Won’t be back till late October
A last chance to grab deck time. One thing we know- winter is probably not far away.
But regardless of the season, we come up here on a regular basis. But as the seasons change, so do our activities. Four months from now we’ll be sitting in the living room, reading books and putting logs in the fireplace while watching the ice fishermen out on the lake.........
