bighairymike: The same intelligence apparatus that assured the Russian Dossier was real...

I hate to break it to you but some of the allegations were proven true.

Many of the claims by Steele, a former British spy, have held up over time, or have proven to be at least partially true, including the fact that there was a concerted Russian operation to attacking the 2016 US election. The Justice Department has brought criminal charges against dozens of Russian hackers and online trolls for allegedly interfering with the election.

Steele’s dossier had also asserted that Trump could be vulnerable to Russian blackmail, among other things.

Now it was never proven that Trump likes Golden Showers but he seems to be obsessed with them. Just a few days ago: Every time the pee-tape story is about to slip out of my mind, Trump brings it up in a public forum. In 2021, he announced, "I’m not into golden showers," while addressing the National Republican Senatorial Committee retreat, though no one had asked. He brought it up during at least two separate speeches he delivered in Ohio last fall. And he mentioned it again on Saturday during a campaign rally in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Me thinks he doth protest too much.

bighairymike: ...and Hunters laptop was fake.

Actually, 51 former top intelligence officials signed a letter saying that the alleged contents of Hunter Biden's laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation." They never said it was fake. What experts did say is that people had kept adding content to the portable drive, making it impossible to say what was on it when it was provided to the blind computer repairman.

Experts who accessed the data to examine its contents and make copies of files discovered no clean chain of custody which undermined their ability to determine the authenticity of most of the drive’s contents.

"The drive is a mess," one computer forensics expert told the Washington Post, and compared the portable drive he received from The Post to a crime scene in which detectives arrive to find Big Mac wrappers carelessly left behind by police officers who were there before them, contaminating the evidence.

"From a forensics standpoint, it’s a disaster," another computer forensics expert said.

So, no chain of custody. So, others wrote files to the drive.

Good luck with that in court.
