I was wondering if, concerned that threatened and actual "election monitoring" by Trump's goons will depress democratic votes at the polls,
Given that Trump is, again, advocating for "mail in voting" to be banned, you may not have a choice. Once everyone is corralled into the polling place, and only on one election day, they will be easier to "monitor". Then send the good squads to only "monitor" heavily Dem precincts, demanding proof of citizenship, at the polls, thanks to new "election security" laws that could be passed by Congress, or by diktat. It would be easy to swing an election, in plain sight, and call it "security".
