Nothing Johnny come lately here. I"ve said this stuff for many years, sometimes to the chagrin of the Right.
I have no anti-government extreme stance.
When I go to McDonald's, I'm so glad that the beef has been inspected by some government body.
When I have to see a doctor or get medicine again, thanks government for making sure the shit is somewhat safe, and the practitioner has some standard qualification.
My parents are getting up there in age and for years I am thankful that government forced builders and businesses to make sure they have things like ramps and parking spots.
Public Schools - imperfect? Sure. But it's nice knowing young kids can't be forced to work on the farm, or stay home in the drug house. They have to go for ABC'S and 123's and full transportation and education is provided without question.
Hate Crimes - I'm not sure if one life is worth more than another. I don't think it is. BUT I do believe there are some locales who are less interested or sympathetic if a certain cohort is killed and I'm glad there's some sort of watchdog over such.
I absolutely disagree with those who feel abortion is a casual thing, that ending a beating heart is no big deal. That it should be used as birth control. Just like Liberals felt how we treat terrorists or murderers or rapists "reflect on our it'society"....well, I feel the same about innocent babies BUT it's nuts to interfere in cases of rape or incest. This IVF crap is pure Taliban as is wanting to track women's periods, or travels for said medical reason. I'm GLAD the government mandates sex education. While I don't agree with some of the tacts and indoctrination----I find it funny that the "Pro Life" people have issues with young folks being taught to use protection as to prevent unwanted babies, and reduce abortions.
Furthermore I have openly questioned why we "value life" -- but once the baby is born, our buttholes pucker up for things like pre-school, Head Start, etc. Sure, I hate the culture decay that has caused the *need* for such. I hate that the culture decay caused the *need* for breakfast and lunch in school..... but if we "value life" and feel "all of gods babies deserve to live".....well, if God ain't providing basic A-B-C education or a god-dang muffin in the morning, then why the umbrage over helping take care of that? Pretend it's an obsolete guided missile system or warplane and fund it.
America First! America First. I agree and have said it for 20+ years. BUT I've also said years ago, how can we love America, but not have much time to be concerned for AmeriCANS namely - if they have a pre-existing condition or job loss, shouldn't they at least be allowed to buy medical insurance?
Many of these things are square against Republican or MAGA orthodoxy and on the Right, we're allowed to disagree. I've voiced these things over the year and not ONE Rightie has put me in the doghouse. This is quite different from the Soviet Authoritarian Leftists. Remember a few TMF Liberals who went for Hillary over Obama? Great thoughtful Liberals like Hochizen were treated horribly by extremists like SandyLeelee.
Club 401K can't stand that I've contributed you on your own greed, racism, paternalism and hypocrisy and I do it in a way that forces your Intolerance to the surface. UNLIKE me you can't compromise.
