He's going to charge user fees of some kind, and he says so. "At a very reasonable price."

He says he will offer insurance, where the private insurance companies will not, at any price.

I don't see anything preventing other countries offering insurance. My first thought was the Saudis insuring their cargoes as they directly benefit from keeping their exports moving, and they have deep pockets. Are we such suckers that we would subsidize the Saudis, and Trump the God's good buddy MBS?

But that money will go to the U.S. Treasury, not to Trump personally.

Or, it could go into that account in Qatar, like the loot from Venezuela.
