You are deeply aware of why that particular bombing campaign hinged on the last two bombs that were dropped.

iirc, the firebomb raid on Tokyo killed more people. It just took a bit longer to do it. After the war, Curtis LeMay, who ran the bombing campaign against Japan, said that, had he been on the losing side, he would have been tried as a war criminal.
