While I agree that the Felon is ill, I don't think this is indicative. He substituted himself for a possibly-mythical (I don't happen to think he's mythical, but it's possible) wandering rabbi. Many people who revere that wandering rabbi are arguably ill, IMO, choosing to believe many things we know simply aren't true (or moral, though that is a bit more subjective).
Regardless, I support the freedom of expression that is blasphemy.
It will be an interesting test how much evangelical/xian support he'll lose. I'm guessing none.
