So does 2 years of construction sound like enough? (I have no idea how long these things take.) Or is Trump just being wildly optimistic? Plus, I thought there were still lawsuits blocking it for now?
I'm sure he'd like it to be finished before the 2028 election: he'll need a nice big secure place in which to reside for his life-time self-appointment as POTUS in perpetuity (with SCOTUS blessing, no doubt). I can even imagine he wanted it to be equipped not only with defensive measures (radar jamming, anti-drone stull), but offensive missiles and drones too! Who knows what the "underground bunker" might end up housing.
