So, Trump the Perfect said, yesterday, that suddenly all the killing in Iran has stopped, so he is standing down his warmongering. Today, oil, and oil company stocks are being pounded. Does he really have no taste for tipping over the Iranian regime, or is it he doesn't have everyone signed up to steal Venezuela's resources yet?
Hard core NeoCon, Elliot Abrams, was on Amanpour last night. He suggested that, instead of military intervention in Iran, do a much better job of interdicting Iranian oil exports.

Iran produces about 3.2 million barrels of oil per day, on average, according to OPEC, accounting for roughly 4% of global crude production. That makes Iran the world’s sixth-largest oil producer – an impressive feat, considering Iran faces burdensome worldwide sanctions that have severely limited its potential customers .To skirt sanctions, Iran operates a shadow fleet of vessels to export oil at a steep discount.
But Iran’s potential far outweighs its actual output. The country is sitting on 209 billion barrels of oil in reserve, behind only Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. So the most profitable course for God on Earth, Trump the Perfect, would be to keep the current Iranian regime, and use that regime's existence as an excuse to turn the screws on their oil exports.
