The RW media -especially- stokes that anger deliberately. Some LW outlets do, also, but not nearly as blatantly (or, frankly, not nearly as well).
Politics ought to be relatively common, boring and well-intentioned. The 'hair on fire' politics popularized by the like of Wally George, Limbaguh, Fox et al isn't popular with educated people/liberals.
An average joe, liberal writers who post misinfromation pisses me off just as much as RW misinformation.
Note that few liberal pundits attain huge media success as do RW pundits.
It's much easier to produce and sell 'hair on fire' lies, partisan attacks and 'culture war.'
Fact-based liberal programming just isn't amusing. Politics shouldn't be amusing. It should just be creating good policy.
