A little more context for those who didn't see his full speech

Trump was painting a picture in his own way, with some geological truth behind it, a picture of the carnage of the war, over the number of casualties on each side, over the number of new casualties every day. He is maneuvering to bring an end to the carnage as soon as possible.

But rather than agreeing or supporting his efforts, some find it more important to criticize Trump for showing compassion for the human suffering in both the UK and Russian and attempting to do something about it.

OK, I've had my say. Time for some what about-ism's, but I would prefer instead an explanation why Trumps approach to the UK war is a bad one.
