Depends.

Big problems importing the morality code of a culture that was not all that different from many aspects of today’s Taliban.

Many differences, to be sure. In many ways more advanced. In others- not so much.

I prefer the morality code of Jesus, or if you prefer- the morality code of Rabbi Hillel.

They were roughly contemporaries and both said many of the same things.
