The nuclear weapons are merely a part of it.

Following up on this, someone should let JD Vance know.

Vance noted that Trump has been consistent in his stance that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, though reasoning for the war has shifted wildly since its start earlier this month. “That’s all this is about. We do not want the Iranians to have a nuclear weapon,” the vice president said.

If that's all this is about, then it would be nice to have some explanation of how what we're doing prevents the Iranians from having a nuclear weapon after the war is over in any way that's different from where they were before the war started.
