Huh? Every other thread is them salivating over Trump being implicated with Epstein. That was an outright fantasy on their part, but whatever.
No one thought Maxwell would implicate Trump with Epstein. OMG, why on earth would she ever do that? It's literally the worst thing she could possibly do at this point. She's been given a golden opportunity to get something out of this - the only way to screw that up would be to become a danger to Trump, rather than a help. Even if she had witness him doing unspeakable things, the only correct thing for her to do would be to pull a Sgt. Schultz.
Enrage his base? I don't think this issue is getting the traction that people here and in the media think it is.
MTG isn't making noises about how disappointed she is with the GOP over nothing. The base wants the Administration to deliver the goods of all the horrible pedophile crimes that TPTB have been doing for decades, and which were covered up by the corrupt Deep State. And they are sending that message to their electeds. MTG's hearing it from her people, and telling folks that she's hearing it from her people. Which is why subpoenas over the Epstein files were able to get out of the House Oversight Committee - three Republicans crossed the party line to vote with all the Democrats to issue those subpoenas, even while Johnson was trying to put a lid on the whole thing. That's not pressure that comes from the media or people like posters here - that's coming from inside the party.
His base isn't buying the claims that Trump himself is a pedophile, but they're certainly mad that the Administration hasn't revealed all the terrible secrets that are concealed in the Epstein Files.
