Tell me you didn't read the article without telling me you didn't read the article.

I don't read much of what you post.

Safe Streets, which involves community members mediating conflicts in ten zones throughout the city that have historically had high gun violence rates “mediated over 2,300 conflicts” and “hosted 451 community mobilization events with 58,000+ total attendance, and on average, resulted in 32% lower homicide rates in the first four years.

Good for them! They're the first blue city to maybe get it right, assuming any of these facts are correct.

Huh.

Yup.

I really, really would like more of you people to live under the kind of governments you all pine for.

Well, I looked.

The city have seen crime rates fall significantly, including robberies (down 47%), carjackings (down 40%) and homicides (down 40%).

It's freaking hilarious that you picked Minneapolis as the city you want to impale your argument on. Hahahahahahahaha. The riots stemming from St. George of Floyd's death piledrove that place into the ground.

Minneapolis:

Murders:
2010 - 37
2011 - 32
2012 - 39
2013 - 36
2014 -31
2015 - 47
2016 - 35
2017 - 42
2018 -31
2019 - 47
2020 - 83
2021 - 94
2022 - 79
2023 - 72

Yup. Double the murders since they went super woke.

Here's my favorite. Auto thefts:
2010 - 1903
2011 - 1775
2012 - 1817
2013 - 1575
2014 - 1531
2015 - 1717
2016 - 1987
2017 - 2388
2018 - 2190
2019 - 2909
2020 - 3979
2021 - 4198
2022 - 6150
2023 - 7774
