Meanwhile, Musk can go full attack mode on vulnerable House reps to make sure the OBBB doesn't pass. $100M in a dozen primaries would overwhelm those incumbents, and they know it - all he has to do is announce he's funding the PAC to attack any reps that vote for it and defend any that vote against it, and that puts Johnson (and thereby Trump's big bill) in a box.

And that might work, but I wonder if Musk is now tired of politics? He got his ass whooped trying to buy a judge, and yes, he got a President (who is now attacking him left and right), so maybe it’s a game he doesn’t really want to drop a lot more coin in? He does lose interest in things, after all. Does he really care that much about “the deficit?”

Since he got involved in the political arena his stock is down, his wealth is down, his car sales are down, his reputation is down, and the only thing up are his rocket ships, which are blowing. Up, that is.
