No, things were crazy when the mob over ran the barriers earlier. But parts of that mob had been crazy for some time. Some of those people were on the internet saying "Civil War!" I know because I was in a FB group where they said it. And some of those guys really meant it.
There were attacks on the East and West. A warning is a nice formality for a true 1st Amendment gathering, but I'd argue that some of the crowd wasn't there to practice the First Amendment and we don't have to be nice to them, but we were, and just used standard riot dispersal tactics.
I find it normal that the "personal responsibility" crowd only pays lip service to law and order, the Constitution,and critical thinking when it suits them. Here, you've manufactured conspiracy theories that there were 60 to 80 FBI and/or Homeland Security agents in the crowd that were provocateurs, as this crazy mob that set up a scaffold, brought handcuff zip ties for Mike Pence, Nancy Pelosi, AOC., and other congress critters was actually peaceful patriots who were provoked and goaded by the FBI/Homeland Security, and then while peacefully preparing to enter the capital were tear gassed, flash banged, with a few rubber bullets tossed in.
So we get that what you actually did is something you can't accept and because you are patriots and always right someone must be blamed. But the fact is you did let yourselves get talked into assisting in a self coup by Trump. Trump attempted to stay in power by unconstitutional means and steered harm toward government officials. You helped him. It's that simple. Got go work. :)
