No they didn’t. That was all Chuck Schumer.

Nope. It was Johnson. Back in the day, it never would have happened. Unless you have a supermajority, you negotiate. You bargain. For the past few decades, that hasn't been the case (except for Boehner...and his party slit his throat). Johnson refused to negotiate or compromise. That's on Johnson. Why should the minority party vote for anything if they get nothing out of it?

Any Congress with a near majority of democrats is not centrist by any means. The extreme left runs that party.

That's your opinion. I disagree. There are certainly some extreme elements in the party. Biden was pretty centrist. So was Harris. So was Obama. Etc.

No need to give any examples of extremist Reps. It would be more illustrative to find some centrist Reps...can't think of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure there must be a few. Certainly none in the current administration. Maybe 5 or 6 in Congress, based on their willingness to break with party ranks?
