ICE has a legitimate role to play, as does the Border Patrol. "Defund ICE" is exactly the sort of extreme rhetoric the right uses to discredit all opposition, just as they used "defund the police" against all opposition. Agitating local citizen populations is *not* their role, however.

Yeah, the optics of that isn't good in election cycles. The "defund the police" was used as a bludgeon to say that "leftists" didn't want law and order. Same for ICE. They do have a legitimate role to play. They're just not playing it right now, per the orders of the Felon.
