There’s a hole in that argument that several million people are about to fall through.

Illegal aliens (who aren’t eligible for benefits at all) and those who can but won’t work even a little (who should be).

But again: the democrat party isn’t about protecting Medicaid. Or anything. It’s about how much bread and wine it can hand out so as to buy votes.
