I guess I felt that Israel wouldn't mind Iran being a real country---or at least sort of a real country that isn't lobbing bombs. Think Egypt. Think Turkey.El-Sisi overthrew an elected government that the US didn't like, and is kept in line with lots and lots of USian money, $1.3-1.4B/year, according to the net sifter.
