Trudeau said he will appoint a fentanyl czar and implement the $900 million border plan that his government announced in December 2024.

In other words, all Trudeau had to do was tell Trump he was going to do what he said he was already going to do back in December 2024.

Trump was grasping at straws to stop the tariffs.

BTW. Canada hadn't implemented anything. They talked a lot, but never actually did anything. Now they will.
