Go live in Iran, you wouldn't last five seconds.
As a straight, white, Christian, man, I might be more comfortable in a cosmopolitan city in Iran, than a Hispanic person in a US city, with a phalanx of ICE storm troops, who are behind in their quota, stomping down the street in my direction.
Tho, I would suspect USians, right now, would receive an extra dose of stink-eye, just as Muslims did in the US after 9/11.
from the net sifter:
Recognized Minorities (Armenians and Assyrians): These groups are granted constitutional recognition and have dedicated seats in the Iranian Parliament. However, they are often treated as second-class citizens, facing discrimination in employment, marriage, and inheritance laws. They are strictly prohibited from proselytizing or holding services in Persian (Farsi), the national language, to prevent Muslims from attending.
