Giving people a right to contest the allegations being levied against them when the government is prosecuting or detaining them is not impractical, and it's literally the floor of rights that are granted under the Constitution.

And they know this. Absolutely, they do.

Which is why FOX is floating this as a trial balloon.

Eliminating due process would be the final nail in democracy’s coffin.

Random immigrants picked up on the street today.

You and me tomorrow.

First, they came for….

And then, no longer constrained by due process, they came for anyone they wanted and disappeared them.
