And which party has opposed the minimum wage?

People who understand economics.

And I suppose this “understanding of economics” likewise explains why Republicans have destroyed unions, been against things like paid family leave and dismantle agencies that enforce worker safety?

Or is it what it obviously is: protecting exorbitant executive salaries and shareholder value?

Workers have lost significant ground since Reagan declared open season on them in 1981.
