And I suppose this “understanding of economics” likewise explains why Republicans have destroyed unions, been against things like paid family leave and dismantle agencies that enforce worker safety?

Not sure what this has to do with the little d's penchant for making people labor in the hot sun, but if grasping at straws is a thing you need to do to make yourself feel better, have at it, homie!

Workers have lost significant ground since Reagan declared open season on them in 1981.
