Two (related?) stories in the news about Moms for Liberty.
ONE -- The leader of the Philadelphia chapter of Moms for Liberty, who is also leader of the 42nd ward state Republican Committee in Philadephia, former backer of Dr. Oz for Senate and still-backer of Trump, is also a convicted sex offender. He was convicted in 2012 at age 25 of aggravated sexual assault of a 14 year old. He of course is claiming all of those charges stem from some tiff with someone with a tie to Lyndon LaRouche. (????)
TWO -- In the recent November 2023 election, voters in the Central Bucks School District serving an area in the suburbs of Philadelphia tossed out EVERY school board member associated with the Moms for Liberty movement. Those members had worked closely with the distict's superindentent who saw the writing on the wall and elected to resign... With a healthy $700,000 severance package approved by.... The outgoing board while still controlled by Moms for Liberty adherents.
I'm guessing the average east coast school district superintendent makes about $180,000 to $220,000 in salary so $700k is 3-4 years' pay. I guess that's one way to financial success. Fail often and fail so badly people pay you vast premiums to leave with a promise not to confirm anything but dates of employment and exit salary.
