It's whackamole.

The balloon effect, we squeeze the southern border, so they move to other borders, etc. We're being asshats right now so they'll lay even lower. Though legally and morally questionable, it seems he has lowered the entry, because no one wants to end up in the Gulag just for crossing the border. We need a supply of cheap labor to grease the wheels of capitalism, and farmers, construction, etc. We've had our first contraction in GDP, and the dollar has fallen. What an accomplishment. If the ugly bill passes, we're screwed.+
