With half the wells in the Gulf getting ready to be shut in, it doesn’t seem likely we’ve reached the peak of this price run-up.

When the Bush junta was in charge, I could buy big oil in late January, ride it up to Memorial Day, and book a nice profit.

We aren't even close to Memorial Day, when USians go nuts on the road, on this go around.
