No, they feel that way because there's a huge gulf between someone making $500K per year and someone making $50K per year.

I understand the classist gulch and agree that it's a dilemma for a democracy.

I'm merely argueing that Trump is a fraud who isn't actually 'on their side.' He merely panders to their concerns because it's extremely profitable.

Before we go any further... now that we have comfortably settled on 'elites' for one side, can we pick a word as its antonym?

"Working-class voters" suggests that 'elites' don't work. I know contractors who make very comfortable 6 figure incomes.
