We were in the store today. Shopping meat. Some older guy (at least as old as me, I think) made some offhand comment about meat prices. I agreed. He then made it clear that he blamed the Felon and his policies. I mostly agreed again. Ended up with a brief history. Like me, he was originally Republican. In 2016 he changed to Democrat. I had an "independent" phase that began in 2000, but I also registered as Dem in 2016. He seemed convinced that when others start feeling the bite of these policies, that they may realize the mistake they made voting for the Felon. Hopefully Rep congress-people, too.

Just a random encounter. I wasn't looking to talk to anyone. Seems it's starting to simmer.

He also was not happy as a private business owner having to pay more than 50% more for his ACA plan.
