National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, speaking with Laura Ingraham on (where else) Fox "News", has decided that the story he's going to try to peddle is that Jeffrey Goldberg somehow schemed his way into the Signal group instead of just being invited by accident.

Aside from sounding insane, how exactly is this better than simply admitting you made a mistake and apologizing to the American people? I mean, if a journalist can trick these senior intelligence leaders so easily, experienced Russian and Chinese spies would be able to hack into their various little chats in a New York minute.
