The week's question
In March 2025, in the thread "Re: OT, out", Umm asked the members: "Do you think it is because America is made up of magical soil that makes businesses based in America magically profitable?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

How about gross and repeated violations of a citizen's 4th Amendment rights for a fishing expedition? I don't recall anyone going to jail when the Obama DOJ did that to Carter Page and who knows else. (liberals cheered that)

Carter Page had the right to file lawsuits if he wanted. And he did. He filed four lawsuits related to the investigations; all were dismissed by courts. Apparently, your characterization of gross and repeated violations of a citizens 4th Amendment rights isn’t accurate.

And don't go hiding behind other posters.

Asking someone with expertise in a particular field isn’t hiding. It’s called learning.

Learning is something I do every day of my life. You’ve made up your mind and refuse to learn. Your discussions with albaby1 have proven that time after time.

Hide? Good luck with that accusation.
