Reports are indicating the New York State fraud trial against Trump picked up Friday, November 3 where it left off Thursday, November 2, with Trump attorney Kris Kise and Judge Engoron speaking for extended periods in raised voices at and past each other. Throughout proceedings on November 2, Kise made repeated objections to "behavior" by Engoron's clerk, who is normally positioned by his side to assist the judge presumably with mundane matters like paperwork, clock-watching, etc.

The behavior? Talking to the judge.

The clerk is the judge's personal "go-pher" in the courtroom. The judge can speak to his/her clerk as much as he wants about anything at any time. It's the judge's courtroom.

NBC's legal analyst Lisa Rubin was present in the courtroom the entire day and reported the clerk was doing ABOSUTELY NOTHING out of the ordinary of any clerk in any courtroom. She stated that lawyers Kise and Habba have realized that the official transcript of the court proceedings only includes what is actually SAID (and understood for transcription). It does not and cannot capture "body language" or "looks" or other perceived / claimed non-verbal communication and signs. As a result, Kise and Habba seem to be raising objections to get their phantom points on the record knowing there is nothing to contradict their objections IN the record because A) non-verbal communication isn't recorded in transcripts and B) IT NEVER HAPPENED. They are simply trying to lay as much groundwork for appeals as possible.

That's the level of professionalism, decorum and respect for the judiciary among Trump's counsel. None at all. Just sleaze.
