Oh my god. It's brilliant. I never would have imagined he could be so brazen as to take this approach to getting himself out of this situation....but could he possibly be doing this? It looks like he's trying to act as though the U.S. has already won the war...and that it's everyone else's responsibility to take care of the rest!!!!

And of course, now that the place is on fire, he can walk away and blame the rest of the world for failing to put out the flames after he’s already done the “heavy lifting”.
