Surely Trump will find a way to avoid that. He's such an egotistical little man. It will bug him no end to have flags at half mast for Carter, while he is being inaugurated.

My guess:

Assuming the flags will be at half mast:

If Trump jumps the shark (disregards the words printed on his teleprompter) in his Inauguration address, he will launch into a full-on attack on Jimmy Carter and Carter’s unworthiness to be so honored.
