The New York Times Trump Whisperers, Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, are reporting on a story first published by The Washington Post, that Prodigal Son and crook Paul Manafort will return to help with the Republican National Convention.
Sure, why not, he fits right in: Manafort was convicted by a jury of his peers of tax and bank fraud; he pled guilty to conspiracies to obstruct justice, Foreign Agents Registration Act violations, making false statements to DOJ and banks; then committed crimes while out on bail before he finally was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Manafort shared internal Trump campaign polling data during the 2016 campaign with a longtime associate who the FBI showed had ties to Russian intelligence. You know, that "Russia Hoax" thingy.
Manafort has long been considered a "grave counterintelligence threat" that had made the 2016 Trump campaign susceptible to "malign Russian influence" ("Russia, if you're listening, I hope...").
And like all the Donald Trump criminal cohorts, he was pardoned.
In short, Top Tier Trump Trash.
But Biden's old, so, whatcha' gonna' do?
