Except for his chief of staff, Trump doesn’t seem to be following that script very closely.

There are, and will be, many things to criticize Trump for. But I'm not sure this is one.

Trump's nominated a fair number of women for his cabinet. His proposed nominees include:

Kristi Noem - Homeland Security
Brooke Rollins - Agriculture
Lori Chavez-DeRemer - Labor
Pam Bondi - AG
Linda McMahon - Education

Other key picks that aren't department heads include Wiles as chief of staff, or course, but also:

Tulsi Gabbard - DNI
Elise Stefanik - UN Ambassador
Kelly Loeffler - SBA
Alina Habba - White House Counsel
Dr. Janette Nesheiwat - Surgeon General
