Trump made a mistake by promising $5000 to everyone if the Republicans held the House and Senate for the mid-terms.
The reason it was a mistake is that everyone outside the cult with an IQ higher than room temperature knows it is a hollow promise that will not be met. Just like ending forever wars, just like bringing prices down, just like the $2000 tariff checks, just like almost everything he says. Empty.
Those in the cult who believe it would believe anything he said anyway so why not promise more? He should have promised $1,000,000 to everyone. $1,000,000 would have motivated the cultists to get out and vote at any cost.
