How about another dog wagging exercise in the Falklands, like the Galtieri junta tried? I saw a report recently that, right now, the RN actually has both of it's carriers fit for sea. Beyond that, they only have about a dozen surface combatants. More importantly, for projecting power to the South Atlantic, they only have three refuling tankers in service. The entire RN now, is considerably smaller than the force dispatched to the Falklands in 82, which included 10 tankers.
