However, it is not a crime to retain documents with the express permission of the federal agents who are specifically in charge of the custody of those documents, which Trump had.

The Mar-a-Lago raid was nonsense for the simple reason that as President, Trump has wide latitude on what is classified and what is not classified.

Hillary! Clinton never was President, and thus had no declassifying authority. Ditto Senator and Vice President Biden (but President Biden did).
