Dope1: He's going to plead guilty. This should clear the way for Biden to either let him go or park him in a federal prison.

Is Biden trying to close Gitmo out before he leaves?

Life moves pretty fast:

Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III on Friday overruled the overseer of the war court at Guantánamo Bay and revoked a plea agreement reached earlier this week with the accused mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and two alleged accomplices.

The Pentagon announced the decision with the release of a memorandum relieving the senior official at the Defense Department responsible for military commissions of her oversight of the capital case against Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and his alleged accomplices for the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York City, at the Pentagon and in a Pennsylvania field.

A senior Pentagon official said that the decision was the secretary’s alone, and that the White House had no involvement.

Sorry. You'll have to incorrectly blame something else on Biden.

He helped broker a complicated prisoner exchange that freed several Americans. Maybe take a moment to congratulate the president for a job well done in the final months of his presidency, a much better use of his time than DonOld, who spent his last months in office trying to overthrow the election, incite an insurrection, and block the transition to a new administration.

Oh, and walking off with many of the nation's most sensitive, top secret intelligence documents, an act that you have yet to condemn.
