Mexico is going to put 10,000 soldiers on the border to help with drug and illegal immigrant interdiction.

Good!! This is what a real partner does, jumps right in to help another partner with an effort that will benefit both countries. Working together on mutual problems is key to reasserting control over the Western Hemisphere and protecting it from intrusions from China, Russia, N Korea, Iran. Getting the Chicoms out of Panama Canal zone is part of that same program.
