Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., pulling the fire alarm on Sept. 30, 2023 during debt ceiling hearings - nothing to see here. Is there even an investigation?

Yes. Look before you speak. Took just a second to find this.

"Three days later, House Republicans say they have no intention of sweeping matters under the rug.

'This has to be addressed directly,' said Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Wis.

Bowman insists he pulled the alarm by mistake.

In a statement, he said he was rushing to get to the vote and activated the alarm while trying to open a locked exit door. The door is typically open during weekdays.

But Republicans aren't buying it."

And on Oct. 2: "U.S. Capitol Police said Monday that it is investigating an incident in which Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulled a fire alarm in a Capitol Hill office building ahead of a last-minute vote to fund the government and avert a shutdown."
