Now that Trump is the presumptive nominee, we can expect the media to go into its Kill Republicans mode and start throwing whatever spaghetti it can against the wall. After all, their campaign to elect Biden more or less starts right now despite their protestations to the opposite.

Anyhow, expect a lot of stories like this one:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1300593...

(As an aide - you won't see the usual whining about source material when the story is anti-Trump. Consistency was never their strong suit).

Trump's White House pharmacy handed out drugs to aides like candy including stimulants and sleeping pills, report reveals
The medical unit spent around $46,500 on Ambien over a three-year period
One witness gave out Provigil 'as a parting gift for leaving the White House'

The story has all the details you'd expect - staffers picking up meds for their bosses, pumping themselves full of whatever to keep going, etc.

The report is based on records and prescriptions from 2017 to 2019 - when former President Donald Trump was in office - and interviews with more than 120 officials, including military providers and pharmacists.

The report stated: 'All phases of the White House Medical Unit’s pharmacy operations had severe and systemic problems.'

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The NPC's already have pre-written posts that wring hands and note that We Can't Have This In The White House because Reasons.

The problem is always when you read teh rest of the story:
The report states it found a handwritten note from March 2014 - when former President Barack Obama was in office - with instructions to give out medications, 'including all controlled substances,' to representatives of patients the drugs were intended for 'without the need to present the patient's ID card.'

Controlled substances require special handling and record-keeping from pharmacies as they have a risk for dependence and abuse.

Yup. In other words...things have been running the way they've been running for a long time. So articles like this will be used for their intended purpose - a drive-by shooting - after which the NPC rollin' in the whip just cruises on down the block looking for the next target.

Gonna be a long 10 months.
